At KIDS MODE, accessible at https://kidsmode.net, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy contains the types of information that is collected and processed by the operation team of Browser Lock Kids Mode and how we use it.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website/web extension product with regards to the information that they shared and/or is collected in KIDS MODE web application product.

Parent privacy:
By creating an account on KIDS MODE website (or mobile app), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the provisions of this Privacy Policy and its Terms of use.
Collection And Use of Information:
KIDS MODE makes parental control services available under several different subscriptions plans free trail/ premium etc. During registration you will be required to submit your first and last name, a password, and a valid email address as a login. We use the information collected to deliver services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, and services and to update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us. In addition to your email address and password, we also collect your name upon registration and user’s age range if added.

Your email address may be used to send you periodic newsletters from KIDS MODE as part of a mailing list from which you can opt out by following the link or instructions provided in each newsletter.
KIDS MODE does not allow minor children under the age of 18 to subscribe to our services knowingly. However, as part of your Parent account, you may choose to provide personally identifiable data about yourself and your family members, for instance, age group, and name for each child. You acknowledge that this information may be personal to you, and that setting up the personal information in your account potentially allows us to identify you or your family members, and therefore may not be anonymous.
Third-Party Payment Processor
KIDS MODE utilizes Stripe, an industry leading third-party payment processor, to process payments. Browser Lock Kids Mode does not store credit card details and relies directly on Stripe

Log Files
browserlock.net follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

They are not customized based on your preference, online behaviours, browsing history, or usage of the product. In the process of showing you these sponsored ads in the format of affiliate links, we do not share your personal information with the advertising partners.
However, once you click on the affiliate links, leave our product, and proceed to the landing pages or destination sites of these third-party advertising vendors, our Privacy Policy will no longer cover your usage and interaction with their product/service. Child Privacy
Parental Consent
KIDS MODE is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) as well to other law, which requires that software companies pre-emptively seek and obtain express Parental Consent before collecting any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18 therefore we do not collect or solicit individually identifiable information from a child without verifiable consent from that child’s parent or guardian. If you yourself are a child under the age of 18, please do not share personal information about yourself with us. Review this Privacy Policy with your parent and make sure you understand it fully. If your parent or guardian has signed up with and enabled KIDS MODE, you understand that a parent or guardian can have access to usage information associated with your profile and devices, including but not limited to the types of data mentioned in the Data Collection and Reporting section below.
Data Collection and Reporting
By the nature of it being a parental control software product KIDS MODE when enabled on a child device, gathers a pre-defined series of usage data and presents this data to the Parent or otherwise authorized administrator of the Browser Lock Kids Mode account. The data thus collected is used solely for the purpose of utility to the Parent, and in turn ensure your safety.
The data collected is directly dependent on the type of operating system software, type of computer, and the set of the account features implemented and supported for said operating system. This data includes, but is not limited to:
- Web content that is blocked or allowed based on Parent rules.
- Searches on major search engines
- Restrictions on Screen Time usage
- Location of the device or computer
- Summarized information of computer usage
- Type of device, operating system, and unique identifier
We do not share your (Child) usage data with third parties or external organizations for any reason whatsoever.
How do we protect your information
We maintain tight controls over all the data we collect, retaining it in secured databases with limited and controlled access rights. Please remember that unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, so although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted via the product; any transmission is at your own risk.
How long do we keep your information?
We keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary. Once you decide to uninstall/remove our product and stop using our website, we will keep your information for an additional six months before deleting them from our database.
